Zonal Workshop at CVSR College of Engineering

Swecha organized a two-day zonal workshop at CVSR College of Engineering on 8th and 9th of September, 2012. The following topics were dealt with in this workshop:

1. An Alternative Paradigm of Computing- A Free Software Perspective

2. GNU/ Linux System Administration

3. Drupal

Ashish, Member, Executive Committee, Swecha and Shiv Prakash and Sudhamsh, both members of the developer community of Swecha handled these sessions. 

Around 100 students from 5 engineering colleges, including CVSR College of Engineering took part in this workshop. The workshop paved way for establishing GLUGs (GNU/ Linux Users Groups) in CVSR College of Engineering, Tirumala Engineering College and Nova Engineering College.
